As News Director of WWD, Lisa Lockwood interviews chief executive officers, retailers, chief marketing officers, creative directors and world famous fashion designers about their businesses, current and future trends, and news developments in the fashion industry. She also interviews celebrities who are involved in the fashion world and writes and assigns feature stories. She handles major breaking news stories on a daily basis and focuses on the sportswear beat. Lisa has moderated industry panels and appeared on television news shows such as Bloomberg TV discussing news developments in the fashion business. Her articles appear daily on WWD.com and frequently in the L.A. Times, Apple News and on Yahoo.com. Lisa attended the University of Pennsylvania and graduated from New York University with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism.
